.: culled from an interesting, real-time view of a West-Coast working environment, my focus sharpens on the emerging profile of a coffee cup, to-go style, of a chain coffee shop that all of us know but we refuse to mention. It is odd the things one might find in one’s inbox, aside from viruses that wipe your hard drive clean.

In any case, the coffee situation here in the outskirts has improved… a recent trip to the market has garnered me some organic half-and-half… to save me from the 12th layer of Hell, where i am trapped beneath waterfall of horrifying non-dairy creamer.

But to bring this on home, I must admit: the coffee I bought to replace my parents’ Folger’s swill was the same as the above-not-mentioned, mysterious to-go cup.
